Drawings and assembly manuals
Due to the widespread disrespect of Zenair policies regarding the non-profit and educational use of Chris Heintz plans, drawings and manuals, Zenair no longer sells "plans only" to customers in Europe. Do not attempt to order drawings-only from the Zenith Aircraft online store; your order will be blocked. Complete aircraft plans/drawings (including genuine Zenair serial number) will only be provided with the purchase of a complete kit, or of a component kit with a minimum value of 5,000 USD. Zenair sincerely regrets the inconvenience, but cannot continue to have its research, development and documents duplicated and exploited by unethical counterfeiters. WARNING: Zenair now aggressively and legally pursues all unauthorized copiers. If you know of someone commercially producing Zenair parts, components or aircraft for sale in Europe, please report them to Zenair at [email protected]
When Zenair does approve the sale of technical drawings (with parts), we only send out full paper copies (not digital copies or CAD files). We only sell drawings to individuals seeking to build their own Zenair design for personal, educational and recreational purposes. The drawings are not for use for commercial purposes or by third parties to make parts from; this (kits) is what Zenair does - it is how we stay in business! Please only purchase Zenair-made airframe parts (or make your own) for your personal Zenair design.

Zenair Europe strongly recommends that for the best customer support and fastest service, all parts and kits should be ordered through a regional Zenair representative or AeroLight Diffusion.
If you choose to order directly from the factory, be aware that you will receive no after-sale service (from the factory, or from your regional representative whom you have chosen to by-pass). Also, posted factory prices at zenithair.com are in USD and do not include taxes and import fees. All goods are FOB the factory and will incur additional packaging, crating and shipping costs. Ordering from Europe may at first appear more expensive; ordering from the factory will end up costing about the same, but will take longer and will not include follow-up service. Support your local representative!

Important: Zenair kits ordered directly from the USA often do not contain the same elements/ features as kits sold in Europe by our representatives. If considering ordering parts or kits directly from Zenith Aircraft (USA) or from Zenair Ltd (Canada), please be aware of this. In addition, customers will need to be responsible for all transportation arrangements, customs, tariffs and brokerage details and fees. Also, documents necessary for aircraft registration in Europe are NOT available directly from the manufacturers. Zenair strongly recommends that for the best customer service and satisfaction, you should establish a good relationship and work with your nearest Zenair representative (see link at left).
