Zenair Floats are given a designation number depending on their size. This designation number also corresponds to the flotation of the floats. For example, the #1150 floats are designed for use on aircraft with a MTOW of 1,155 pounds. If you wished to install Zenair floats on your 1,230-pound aircraft, you would choose the #1350 floats (not the #1150). |

Note: Factory-built ZENAIR floats are assembled with sealed blind rivets in order to lower costs and to simplify maintenance. Kit customers assembling their own floats have a choice of assembling with blind rivets , or with aircraft solid-rivets. |
