THE BASIC STRAIGHT FLOATS Zenair floats feature individual compartments separated by full-size bulkheads, a rugged custom extruded aluminum keel, and a ‘walkway’ stiffener along the top. Quality marine adhesive sealant makes the floats exceptionally watertight, and the conventional sheet metal construction is easy to assemble from a kit and to repair. |

THE FOUR-WHEEL AMPHIBIOUS FLOATS The 4-wheeled version of AMPHIBIOUS FLOATS allow the aircraft to be mounted higher off the ground than with the original 3-wheeled version. The hydraulically retracted nose wheels are self-centering free-castering wheels. This provides for smooth operation at any airport. |

“PARTS KITS” and “PRE-DRILLED KITS”: What is the difference? The same parts are included in both kits, but they do not include pre-drilled holes in the basic kit. With the basic parts kit, you measure, mark and drill all the holes according to the detailed assembly manual. With the Pre-Drilled Kit, factory specialists pre-assemble your floats by drilling almost all the holes. Floats are then taken apart again for easy shipping and final assembly by you. This saves about 75 hours of work per set of straight floats and 150 hours for the amphibious model. |
